Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a clan of musicians. As a child, she was exposed to many classical music and old Boleros. In addition, she was a fan of traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana is a lover of operas and tangos. Additionally, she enjoys dramatic performances. Her mother taught her how to sing, and she began intensifying her vocal instruction under Flavio Belcerra at 16 when he was a renowned Mexican opera Tenor. She continued her musical training at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. She then attended the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. The singer performed at Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young student and professional. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the south of California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. Passion and enthusiasm for performing, painting, and performing keeps her involved with a variety of local initiatives in the roles of teacher and performer. Ana is also a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana hopes that with her singing of Latin American traditional songs, she can instill a passion, particularly among the younger generation and keep the tradition living.
