Angelica Panganiban (born Angelica Panganiban) is an Filipino American actress, model TV host, and comedian. Panganiban (also referred to as the New Queen of Drama) is considered by different media to be one of Philippines most versatile, experienced and well-versed actors. The name angelica indicates that just the roots are used, the majority of herbal medicines as well as A. archangelica-based products contain flowers, seeds and fruits or the whole plant. Angelica Hale, then 4 years old, was taken seriously ill in 2012 as a result of a strep pneumonia bacterial infection. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston was forced to place Angelica Hale in ECMO Life-Support because she required life-saving medical interventions. Her kidneys did not recover following the onset of a septic infection and was diagnosed with several organ failure. It was her new normal to have peritoneal and then hemolysis. After an 80-day hospital stay Angelica appeared to be dying but was on the road of recuperation. Angelica's entire life was changed after she underwent kidney dialysis. It was her mother who donated her kidney. In September 2013, Angelica and her mom went through the successful transplantation of their kidney at two amazing hospitals located close to one another- the University Hospital of Memory and Children's Hospital of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young Atlantan girl who always dreamed of becoming an actress as well as a performer and is currently working towards this dream.
